Context

ES made a fresh overnight ATH at 7623 before sharply pulling back into the open. We are now testing the 7580 zone, which was the May 29th overnight low and prior resistance breakout area. This becomes the key pivot for today. The larger trend is still bullish, but after the overnight rejection, this shifts from “chase breakout” mode into “prove the dip holds” mode. If buyers defend 7580, this can still rotate back toward ATH. If 7580 fails, we likely see a deeper retracement into prior breakout structure.

★ Prime Setup

7580 Hold & Reclaim Long

Trigger
Hold or reclaim back above 7580 after flush/rejection
Target
7600 → 7607 → 7623
Invalidation
Acceptance below 7573

A-Tier Setup

7573 Flush Reversal

Trigger
Sweep below 7580 into 7573 support followed by reclaim
Target
Rotation back toward 7600
Invalidation
Acceptance below 7568

B-Tier Setup

7600 Pop & Fade

Trigger
Weak reclaim into 7600/7607 that fails with exhaustion
Target
7580
Invalidation
Acceptance above 7607

Avoid

  • Chasing downside directly into 7580 support
  • FOMO longs before acceptance back above resistance
  • Trading emotional volatility right after open
  • Confirmation
  • Watch whether 7580 becomes responsive buying
  • Delta should confirm reclaim if longs are real
  • Failed reclaims = rotational/chop environment
  • Acceptance back above 7600 improves structure significantly

How it played out

The primary setup triggered and reached its first target.

triggered, then reached 7600. Measured from m15 bars, ESM6, confirm entry, touch-based invalidation. Not a fill, and not a return: see how this is measured.
